I am a highly motivated and passionate front-end developer focused on delivering world-class digital interfaces and user experiences. Through the use of modern tech stacks and frameworks that provide the best cross-browser compatibility, I thrive on the challenge to build what others can conceptualize through visual design and ideation. As an individual who is continuing to grow and learn through experimentation, creating proof of concepts, and pair programming with others, I look forward to the opportunity to engage with like-minded people who want to make a difference in the world through their digital profiles and corporate communications strategies. My experience working with Jared Spool and his amazing team at UIE have set the bar very high. Are you ready to be part of this journey with me?

B.S. in Exercise and Health Sciences• May 2015
I graduated from UMASS Boston with a B.S. in Exercise and Health Sciences. During my time at UMASS Boston, I discovered within myself a greater capacity for critical thinking and problem solving. I learned that I had to be fully involved with all my classes and learned how important it was to build relationships with my peers and professors to obtain a greater understanding of the material that was being taught. Through my undergraduate career, I have shined as a leader and as a student; frequently led study groups and performing well in classes and in internship sites. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2015.
A.A. Degree in Business• May 2011
I graduated from BHCC with an A.A. in Business. During my business degree I encountered many challenges. From those challenges I learned how to study, learned what it took to be a top student, and, most importantly, I had gained confidence and learned that I could do anything once I set my mind to it. Graduated with High Honors in May of 2011.
Since getting into the web development field in January of 2018, I have learned and received an understanding in the skills below. I am part of a career where I am dedicated to ongoing learning in skills already acquired and in new skills. I will continue to grow and am excited to learn new skills and to improve in the skills I have already obtained.
For my first web development project ever I created the front-end of a Tic Tac Toe application that is live
on the web. A user can sign in or sign up to have access to the Tic-Tac-Toe game and the user's stats are
saved. The app was built using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

For my second project and my first full-stack project ever I decided to build a traveling log called
Geo-Footprint where users can store their trips and see their geo-footprints. A user needs to sign in or
sign up if not already a user. Once signed in a user can view their past trips if any and can also record a
trip with their trip details. A user can CRUD on their trips resource. The back end was made using Ruby,
Ruby on Rails, and RESTful routes for handling requests. The front end was made using HTML, CSS/SASS,
JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX. I also challenged myself to make Geo-Footprint responsive so it can be used on
mobile devices.

For my third project and first group project I had to work in a group with four other developers to make a
content management system (CMS) application where companies/organizations that want to have their own
company blog and web pages and can CRUD their own "blog posts" and "web pages". We created the CMS
application called 'Jump-Ahead' where companies who want to get a jump-ahead on building a strong web
presence can come to. The back end was made using MongoDB, Mongoose, and Express. The front end was made
using HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, Handlebars and AJAX. Third party API Stripe intergrated.

Organization Name: The Avengers
For my fourth and final project at General Assembly I decided to make a full-stack application called
MotivationQ. MotivationQ is a community where users can motivate each other by storing their favorite
motivational quotes and share it with other users. If a user likes another user's motivational quote they
can add that quote to their own list. MotivationQ's API was made using Ruby and Ruby on Rails and the front
end was made using HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, Handlebars and AJAX. I also challenged myself to make
MotivationQ responsive.
